Atlas Assistant — Closed Beta Waitlist: Privacy Notice
1. What we collect and why
Joining the waitlist means signing up on the website — with your Google account, by email, or via Telegram. We collect:
- Your name and either your email address or your Telegram numeric ID (never a Telegram handle), received from
that sign-in method, so we can contact you about the closed beta.
- The time you signed up.
- Your answers to a few short questions on the form: which chat app you would use (WhatsApp, Telegram or both), the language you use, your phone type (iPhone or Android), whether you use an AI assistant today, what you would use your assistant for (free text, optional, up to 300 characters), and how you heard about us (optional). We use these answers to choose who gets early access.
- Which link or post you came from: a short code in the link you used, stored with your sign-up, so that we know how people found us. While you sign in with Google, we keep that code for up to 10 minutes in a cookie on your device, and in your browser tab's temporary storage, only to attach it to your sign-up; it is not used to follow you around the web.
- Your consent (checkbox) and a timestamp of when you gave it.
Purpose limitation: we use this data for one thing only — contacting you about the Atlas Assistant closed beta. We do not use it for general marketing, profiling, or any other product or purpose.

2. How long we keep it
We will delete waitlist data within 12 months of collection, or when the beta decision is made (opens or is cancelled), whichever comes first. If the closed beta never opens, we commit to deleting all waitlist data rather than holding it indefinitely.
If you signed up before 3 November 2026, your record may also hold answers to earlier questions on the form (including a question about how you use Claude). They are kept under the same rule and deleted with the rest.

3. Your rights — access and deletion
You can ask us at any time to see what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact: [email protected].

4. Who else sees this data (processors) and no sale/sharing
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only parties who may process this data on our behalf are service providers who help us run the form itself, for example:
Google, as the sign-in identity provider — Google's own privacy policy applies to the sign-in step. The waitlist itself is first-party and runs on our own server.
If you sign up through Telegram, Telegram provides the sign-in step under its own terms; we receive only your numeric ID, never your handle.

5. Israeli law — also relevant even though the audience is global
The audience for this waitlist is global, not Israel-only. However, Atlas (as the controller running this form) may still be based in Israel, and Israeli privacy law can apply to him as controller regardless of where the data subjects are. In short, under Israeli law:
- Data may only be used for the purpose it was collected for (purpose limitation).
- Reasonable data-security measures must be applied, per the 2017 Data Security Regulations (database-tier
obligations scale with sensitivity and database size).
- Individuals have a right to review and request correction/deletion of data held about them.
