Privacy & control

What we keep, who can open it, and how you control it.

You approve anything risky

Three kinds of action always stop and ask first — nothing risky happens without your yes. Said yes once? There's a 15-minute window before Atlas Assistant asks again for the same kind of thing.

/lock — stop everything, right now

Type /lock in your chat with Atlas Assistant at any time to pause it instantly. /unlock resumes. /unpair disconnects your computer entirely.

Your own computer

When Atlas Assistant runs on your computer, your messages pass through our server only to be delivered, and we do not keep them. When our server answers instead (for example on WhatsApp), the recent conversation is kept encrypted for 30 days after the last message.

Our server (server mode)

In server mode, our server answers the chat (for example on WhatsApp). Your recent conversation is stored encrypted for 30 days after the last message, and your assistant’s long-term memory is kept until you delete it. You can delete it from the dashboard or by asking your assistant. The encryption key is held by our server, so we do not claim we cannot read it. Our staff open stored content only with your permission, and every access is logged.

Reminders

Reminders are ones you set. Atlas Assistant doesn't decide on its own when to contact you — it keeps the time you gave it and delivers it then, nothing more.

Who sees what

Messages pass through our server, so we do not claim we cannot see them. Stored conversations and memory are encrypted, but the key is held by our server. Our staff open them only with your permission, and every access is logged.
